Collectors: H. Toxopeus, J.H. Lubberts
Introduction
The expedition was funded by the Centre for Plant Breeding and Reproduction Research (CPRO), Wageningen.
The goal of this collecting mission was to gather wild caraway (Carum carvi) from Bavaria (southern Germany)
for research purposes. In 1998 the germplasm was handed over to CGN. Rejuvenations started in 2013.
In 'Documents' you will find the list of samples collected during this mission.
In those days GPS devices were hardly available. Lon/Lat coordinates were later collected from maps and included in the database.
